How long does orthodontic treatment take?

Treatment duration varies for each individual, typically ranging from 6-30 months. We customize our treatment plans to meet the specific needs of every patient, always prioritizing efficiency. Advances in orthodontic technology have mad treatments faster and more predictable and we incorporate these innovations when suitable for the best possible outcomes.

Can I get braces the same day as my consultation?

Yes! We value your time and know that parents, children and adults have busy schedules. Depending on which treatment option best suits you, we can accommodate same day braces appointments. If you choose a customizable option for your treatment, we also offer same day scan to save you time from missing work and school.

Are there restrictions with braces or aligners?

There are plenty of ways to perfect your smile, with each treatment offering its own unique considerations. Naturally, some of the top questions we get are: "Can I still play an instrument with braces or aligners?" "What about sports?" and "Can I use an electric toothbrush?" The good news is, the answer to all of these is a resounding yes! Most patients find that orthodontic treatment has little to no impact on their daily activities or routines.

That said, we do provide a few simple food guidelines to ensure the best possible results. And, of course, keeping your teeth and gums healthy is key, so we’re here to guide you with expert tips and advice every step of the way!
